Detention Center Visitation
The Montrose County Jail has implemented Video Visitation. We offer video visitation in the Programs Lobby on site on Mondays or Fridays only. To schedule an appointment for home visits or on-site visits, please click here. You can pick a time between the hours of 9am – 11am and 7pm – 9pm. On site visits will be limited to one, ten minute visit per inmate, per week. The Montrose County Detention Center visitation is ADA compliant. These visits will be recorded and may be monitored during the visit.
Visitation privileges are subject to time allowances or other security factors and may be cancelled at any time with or without notice if deemed necessary by Administration or the Detention Supervisor.
Children will now be allowed to visit inmates at the Montrose County Detention Center. An adult must accompany each child one at a time.
Visitors must be appropriately dressed. Persons inappropriately dressed will not be allowed to visit. If an inmate or visitor displays inappropriate behavior, or becomes a threat to the safety of the facility, the visit will be terminated immediately and they may lose their privilege to future visitation.
