Where do I go to get fingerprinted?
To enter the visitation lobby for fingerprinting, start at the front entrance of the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office – Administration Building. Walk to the left side, where you’ll see a blue line painted on the concrete sidewalk. Follow the line to the visitation lobby entrance, then press the call box button located to the left of the door. A staff member will assist you.

You must present an official government-issued photo ID to be fingerprinted.

After completing pre-registration, Colorado Fingerprinting Background Service will provide instructions on how to schedule your appointment, what identification to bring, and any associated fees.
