In accordance with Colorado Revised Statutes, the Montrose County Sheriff is the official custodian of the jail. The Sheriff is responsible for the care and housing of inmates, transportation of prisoners, execution of writs, and support of court operations.
Inmate List – You may search for an in-custody inmate by name. Results include booking information and related criminal charges.
Intake Process – Individuals arrested by local law enforcement are transported to the Montrose County Jail, where they are formally processed into the facility.
Meals – Inmates are provided three meals per day, delivered to their cells. Special dietary needs are accommodated as required.
Medical Care – The jail provides healthcare services to all inmates.
