Montrose, CO— On Friday afternoon, March 15, 2019, Mr. Carl D. High, 84, of Olathe, Colorado, was trapped under the arm of a backhoe suffering acute injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
The incident was investigated by the Montrose County Coroner’s Office of Medical Investigation and the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office.
The cause of death was multiple traumatic injuries; the manner of death was accidental.
