Citizens’ Academy Application

“I hereby certify that there are no willful misrepresentations, omissions or falsifications in the foregoing statements and answers to questions. I understand that any omissions or false statements on this application shall be sufficient cause for rejection for enrollment or dismissal from the Montrose County Sheriff’s Citizens’ Academy. I understand that the Montrose County Sheriff’s Office will be conducting a thorough background investigation which may include, but not be limited to, criminal history, employment history and personal references. I certify that I have not been convicted of any felony offense in any jurisdiction within Colorado nor any other state in the United States. I also understand that I may be dismissed or removed from the Citizens’ Academy for any disruptive or inhibitive behavior during this program.”

In order to complete a background investigation, a representative from the Montrose County Sheriff's Office will be reaching out to you obtain additional information.
